New Tulane-Zoom Portal Launch!

The Tulane IT Department is pleased to offer a redesigned Tulane-Zoom portal with account access for all Students, Faculty, and Staff of Tulane University.  Zoom is an industry leader in web conferencing and mobile collaboration. Included in this launch is the addition of Zoom for Healthcare*, a HIPAA compliant version of Zoom.

When browsing to the Tulane-Zoom Portal, each user will see a choice between the two account types: Zoom Pro or Zoom for Healthcare. 

  
Zoom Pro Account: 
All Students, Faculty, and Staff are eligible for a Zoom Pro Account, offering unlimited online meetings for up to 300 participants, compatible with Windows, Mac, and mobile devices.  This option does not offer HIPAA protections. 
  
Zoom for Healthcare* Account: 
Zoom for Healthcare is a HIPAA compliant alternative to Zoom Pro with similar features and compatibility. With Zoom for Healthcare, members of our community who need to collaborate and discuss protected information, will be able to do so in a secure web conferencing environment. Eligible users will be contacted, and access granted depending on their account needs, HIPAA obligations, and other criteria.
