Windows 7 End of Life is fast approaching, which means that Microsoft will no longer provide security updates for systems still operating on Windows 7 after January of 2020. All computers running Windows 7 need to be upgraded or replaced if they cannot be upgraded.

To determine whether a machine can be upgraded to Windows 10, visit the following website. Please reference only Windows 10 Fall Creators Update (1709):

Why Should You Migrate to Windows 10?

1. All updates and features will happen with bi-annual updates. Some other patches and fixes will happen as well, but the updates will be less frequent and less interruptive.

2. Win10 is faster than Win7. A properly configured computer will operate Win10 faster than Win7.

3. It’s more secure. There are multiple security features built into the Win10 that help protect your computing.

4. It’s built to support the cloud and cloud-based applications. Email, Office and other cloud-based platforms are faster and more secure with Win10. 5. Win10 is intuitive. The home button is back, the desktop is familiar and searching your desktop is even better.
