Getting Started with Your Tulane Account

Your Tulane account credentials are your keys to your digital home at Tulane and include your username, email address, password, and TUID. They provide access to a wealth of student applications and services through our convenient single-sign-on (SSO) system. Please safeguard your password and personal data by refraining from sharing it with anyone, including parents or guardians, to maintain the utmost security and privacy.

Get started in 4 steps:

1. Set Up Your Tulane Email

Student email accounts are hosted by Microsoft 365 and are accessible via web, desktop, or mobile app. To access your email, log in using your school account credentials (Tulane username using the extension @tulane.edu and password).

You can sign in to your Tulane email account on your desktop or tablet from various links: gibson.tulane.edu, outlook.com/tulane.edu, and outlook.com. You may also access your email and other Microsoft 365 applications by signing in to office.com using your Tulane credentials.

To get Tulane email on your phone, download the Outlook mobile app (Android or iPhone).

Remember, your password is your key to your digital home. Please do not share it with anyone, including your parents or guardians. Tulane will never ask for your email by phone, text, or email. If you suspect your account has been compromised, please reset your password immediately and report the suspicious activity to security@tulane.edu
