Tulane's wireless network is a dedicated resource for Tulane students, faculty, and staff.
Authentication to eduroam allows Tulane students access to wireless networks on other participating college campuses as well.
From your wireless setup, connect to the wireless network named ‘tulaneguest’. Open a browser and enter http://neverssl.com. You will be redirected to the Guest Portal. Do not enter your username and password at this point. Instead, click on the red text ‘Tulane faculty, students, and staff click here…’. You will be redirected to the ‘JoinNow’ page. Click on the JoinNow button and follow the prompts to initiate a connection to eduroam. Locations and Restrictions
There is wireless coverage throughout all Tulane campuses. All common areas and classrooms offer Wi-Fi as well as all residence hall rooms and common areas on the campuses. Residence halls on both campuses offer one Ethernet connection for each occupant.
Students are not allowed to use routers to broadcast personal wireless networks. These rogue networks can interfere with the primary wireless network.
Students are not allowed to operate wireless printers. USB cables are available for purchase at the Technology Connection in the Lavin-Bernick Center.
It may not be possible to connect certain devices such as those used for streaming media, game consoles, and personal assistants to eduroam. These devices should instead use the WiFi network named “tulane”. For further assistance visit this page or call the Service Desk at (504) 988-8888 to register your device
