Build-a-Bot Workshop

You've probably thought about building a course assistant. Maybe a bot that answers syllabus questions at 11 PM so you don't have to, or a study buddy trained on your reading list, or a TA that drafts feedback on rough drafts.

This sprint gets you from idea to working bot in one sitting. We start with what a good course bot actually does (and what it absolutely should not). Then you'll build one using TulaneAI or BoodleBox, feed it your own materials, and test it against real student questions.

You'll leave with a deployable bot, a link to share with your class, and a clearer sense of where chatbots earn their keep in your course design.

Tuesday, September 15 | 1pm - 2:30pm | Howard-Tilton Memorial Library, 306 and via Zoom
