Join Tulane's Research IT Team for the Fall 2026 Cypress Lunch n' Learn Workshop Series. Register for all sessions of interest to you. Open to Tulane faculty, staff, and students.

  • Module 1: HPC Resources Overview, Monday, Aug. 24th
    Identify the HPC resources best suited to your research. 
     
  • Module 2: Intro to Multi-Processing, Tuesday, Aug. 25th
    Use multiple processors to speed up computational research workflows.

    Run and manage R-based analyses on Cypress.

All sessions from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM CT, via Zoom. Register.

Be sure to request a workshop account, as needed, PRIOR to joining a session. Request Account


Workshop account:

In the workshop account request form, input the following information in the PI field and Research Information fields:

  • For the "PI", select either Carl Baribault or Hideki Fujioka from the drop-down menu.
  • For the "Descriptive Title for Your Research", input workshop.
  • For "Brief Overview of Research", input workshop. 
  • Review the Acknowledgment, End User Agreement(s), and Globus Attestation and "Submit" the request.
