The Dean Dashboard Report Suite was created in partnership with the Office of Registrar, Information Technology's Data Warehouse Team, and Tulane's academic leaders. This transformative tool provides valuable insights into our students’ academic and course instructors experiences within Tulane's respective degree programs.
This comprehensive dashboard leverages the power of data to foster student achievement and growth, offering filters that highlight enrollment demographics and uncover academic trends and patterns. By using this information, our leaders and educational specialists can make informed, data-driven decisions to enhance our academic offerings and support services while identifying improvement areas. This enables us to promote inclusivity and provide equitable opportunities for educational success to our students and faculty.
Access and Security
The confidentiality and privacy of our student data are of utmost importance to Tulane. Secure login access to the Dean Dashboards is restricted to leaders like deans and assistant deans and their designated employees within each academic discipline. Moreover, each employee's data visibility within the dashboard reports is confined to the specific school(s) with which they are affiliated. Only approved designated employees may request access for new or additional employees. Please contact DeanDashboard@tulane.edu to submit access requests.
How to access the dashboards
If you are a designated employee with access to the dashboard, you may log in through the secure login portal using your Tulane email and password.
Communication and Support Services
The IT Data Warehouse team has created a special communication channel within Microsoft called the Dean Dashboard group, DeanDashboard@tulane.edu. This channel allows designated employees to directly communicate with the Data Warehouse team for support requests, feedback sharing, and collaboration with other academic leaders on improvements. All designated employees have access to the Dean Dashboard communication group in Microsoft Outlook.
Managing your notification settings
By default, all designated employees have group notifications turned on, which are sent to your individual Tulane email account. Notifications include email sent to and replies from DeanDashboard@tulane.edu and updated and new files in the group's file share.
To limit the number of notifications you received from this group, change your individual group notification settings following the below instructions.
