What is Bridge?
Bridge is Tulane University’s learning management system (LMS) and is used to deliver and track your required training and learning. Bridge is an engaging, streamlined, and effective learning management platform that allows Tulane to quickly extend to our employees the skills, tools and knowledge that they need to be successful.
Can anyone at Tulane use Bridge?
Only Tulane faculty and staff use Bridge to complete their critical training courses.
Why am I receiving these notifications?
The email notification that you have received is from Tulane University’s Learning management System, Bridge. Because of your classification in the University’s HRIS System, you are required to complete training delivered through Bridge.
As an Employee, what is my responsibility?
Ensure you are in compliance by taking all required courses.
I am not able to complete the course because the slide will not advance. What do I do?
From a troubleshooting point of view, below are a list of things you can try:
- Switch browsers to Edge Chromium, Chrome, Safari or Firefix. Explorer does not work well with Bridge.
- Clear your browser cache.

Should I be providing time and a computer to all my direct reports to take this required training?
Yes, supervisors should provide both time and equipment so that all the employees they supervise are able to meet training requirement deadlines.
I am getting notifications about people I no longer supervise. What action do I need to take?
The data comes from our HRIS system, HCM. Please contact hris@tulane.edu to have the information corrected in HCM.
How can I get access to deliver training via Bridge?
If you would like to become an author in the Tiger Training system, please contact xxx for assistance.
I want to learn more about Bridge. Where can I do that?
Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and the University’s vendor offers additional training guidance.
As a Supervisor, what is my responsibility?
Ensure your employees are in compliance.
I do not think my employees should complete the trainings assigned to them. Why are they required to complete these courses?
As an employee of Tulane University, the employees you supervise have access to University resources and systems, and as a result, they are asked to complete all required training. Doing required training protects Tulane and all who work for the University.
Is Bridge mobile friendly?
Yes, Bridge is mobile friendly and will work from your phone or tablet browser. There’s no need to download an app.
What does the circle to the left of a program mean?
The circle shows you the different courses that are part of that program, so you have a visual of your progress.
What does a check mark next to a course mean?
The check mark means the course has been completed.
What does a paperclip icon to the right of the course mean?
This symbol indicates that there is an attachment associated with that course or program.
Can I access a course after I have completed it?
Yes. Simply click on the course to review the content.
I just completed a training but it is not showing as complete in my list. What can I do?
If you completed a training but it isn't displayed as complete, refresh your browser window. Sometimes Bridge needs a minute to update its records page.
