Adobe Sign

A HIPAA compliant electronic signature solution for Tulane administration.

If you have a Tulane-Issued Adobe Sign account, click here to login

Adobe Sign is available to users who need to initiate or request legal signatures on official university and third-party documentation. For example: signatures on legal documents, HIPAA compliant studies, consent forms and reports, or HR paperwork like W2 forms, policies and agreements.

Under a one-year pilot agreement with Adobe, Tulane is limited to 5,000 signatures at no additional cost. If we exceed our limit, then departments may be billed based on percentage of their usage. Each transaction cost $2.

Due to our 5,000 signature limit, Adobe Sign is only available on a case-by-case basis. Please fill out and submit a request form through Service Now, and one of our Business Relationship Managers will review and approve the request. Once approved, someone from our Adobe Sign team will contact you to setup your account.

*Each department is required to assign a lead administrator ("super user") to their account to manage users access.

Once IT creates your Adobe Sign account, there are a few basics to go over. Adobe has developed a getting started guide to familiarize users with its functionality, interface and all the important processes within the application. You can also setup a time for a virtual training with IT's Adobe Sign team.

This highly customizable application has a wide range of features that may or may not apply to how you do business.  Your department's lead administrator may have disabled some of the options described in the getting started guide. If you have a need for something you don’t see available to you, contact your department's lead administrator. For additional support, submit a ticket to the IT Service Desk.

By the end of this guide, you’ll be familiar with all of the standard “send” workflows in Adobe Sign as well as how to manage your agreements.
