Virtual Private Network (VPN)

Pulse Secure VPN client will be sunset on January 1, 2025.

To access Tulane's VPN you will need to download the Pulse Secure client. Enter your Tulane email and password, and authorize your login using Duo multi-factor authentication.

Detailed instructions for downloading and configuring the Pulse Secure client are below:

 

Palo Alto Global Project VPN - Coming January 2, 2025  

Effective January 2, 2025

All Tulane computers managed by IT will have the "Global Project" application auto-installed. For personal and non-managed computers, all users will need to open a web browser and enter "vpn.tulane.edu" to download and install the Palo Alto Global Protect VPN client. Continue to use Pulse Secure through January 1, 2025. 

Users will be prompted with the below options and should select the appropriate install:

 Users will then be prompted with the following:

 Click "Yes" on MSI installer.

After the installation, open the Global Protect Application - circled below in yellow

 The application will open as shown below. Please enter "vpn.tulane.edu" and select "Connect":
