Box Cloud File Storage

GO TO BOX

What is Box?

Box online storage is like a hard drive in the cloud. Store documents and files in Box and then access them anywhere, anytime, from any device. Box also can sync files from your local hard disk automatically providing a backup that will always be available from other computers and devices. All Tulane faculty and staff have access to unlimited storage on Box and can view and access their content anywhere, anytime, on any device.

Who has access?

All Tulane faculty, staff and students have free access to a Tulane Box account. Alumni accounts do not have access to a Tulane Box account.

Graduates

Please note that following graduation students whose accounts are transitioned to alumni status will no longer receive Tulane-paid Box storage using their Tulane email address. We recommend moving your files prior to graduation from your Tulane Box account to a free Box, OneDrive, Dropbox, or other cloud storage account. Do not set up these personal accounts using your Tulane alumni email.

HIPAA Protected Data

Tulane has a HIPAA Business Associate Agreement (BAA) with Box cloud storage that allows HIPAA-protected data to be stored on Box. To learn more about Box cloud file storage, visit the Box Support webpage.
